Ok, I read a little bit more in my book. No more major events have happened, but Valentino reminisced about some more events that happened in Africa. During the time that Valentino tells his story, he is waking up from his unconscious state. While waking up, he notices an unknown boy sitting in his house that is watching his TV. Valentino, in his mind, analyzes the boy and wonders what the boy's life has been like. Valentino explains events about his life at that age- about how he was marched out of town at his age and forced to live on his own. The tone of this book is similiar to the tone of the movie we are watching in class now. They're both about African people too.
